Recently Sony Ericsson Kindly sent me their latest top of the line smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia™ Arc. Although the handset weighs about the same as a spec of dust and feels a bit plasticy it’s actually surprisingly rugged and certainly is one very powerful smartphone.
The Arc runs Android 2.3 gingerbread, and comes complete with a stunningly fast 8mp camera (with 720p HD video), BRAVIA®Engine 4.2 inch multi-touch screen, and has an Exmor R™ sensor which enables you to shoot pictures/HD videos even in low light, they also provide an in-built HDMI connector for linkage to your TV.
Overall this is the first Sony Ericsson smartphone I have tried that can easily hold its own against its many competitors from the likes of Samsung and HTC. It’s battery last 2 days with normal use, its durable, sexy, and even though it only has a Snapdragon 1 GHz CPU you can still play games, and use apps with no evident lag. If you want a reliable, stylish smart phone with an incredible camera, then you can’t do much better than the Sony Ericsson Arc.
