Last night was the cyber lions at Cannes. Above is this years Grand Prix winner from Intel and Toshiba. Together they created a 45min love story called The Beauty Inside. It played out over 7 YouTube videos, with gaps for user generated content that were clipped into the episodes each week. Watch the case study above to find out more. I think this is the first time that I have seen a Cannes digital jury award work based on digital storytelling, rather that technological wonder. It’s a pleasant change, I still believe technology works best when it almost becomes invisible to the experience you are having.
