Apple: 30 Years of Macintosh

On January 24, 1984, Apple introduced the Macintosh. On January 24, 2014, Apple sent 15 camera crews all over the world to film an ad in one day using over 100 iPhone5s phones. The ad was directed by Ridley Scott and his son Jake, and the creative director was Lee Clow chairman of TBWA who came up with the original Macintosh ad with Ridley.

From sunrise in Melbourne to nightfall in Los Angeles, they documented people doing amazing things with Apple products. They shot over 70 hours of footage, this was then edited and scored by 15 cinematographers, and 21 editors into the ad below.
