The smart folks at W+K London have created a wonderful series of YouTube ads for Honda that test your speed reading ability. It’s kind of a smart execution of another speed reading campaign last year from Cellcom.
Normally, a person reads around 180 words per minute, 80% of your reading speed is wasted on eye movement from left to right. The technique behind this ad is called RSVP (Rapid Serial Visual Presentation), which shows the reader only 1 word at a time, enabling you to read up to around 400 words per minute.
Watch the videos below and see if you can still read it at it’s fastest.

Sport England Celebrates Real Women
Sport England earlier in the year launched an impressive campaign celebrating active women, no matter how well they train, or how they look.
The work is not too dissimilar at heart to the Dove campaign for real beauty. It’s beautifully shot, and as well as the ad below there is a wonderful thisgirlcan.co.uk website with advice, and inspiring stories from some of the women featured in the campaign.
Work by FCB Inferno.
p.s. This is a very delayed post, mainly because when it came out I was pretty busy, so apologies for the lateness.
